Allen Robinson Expects To Remain With Bears This Year
Allen Robinson said he expects to finish out the year with the team, but he didn't clarify whether he or his agent formally requested a trade after being disappointed with the team's long-term contract offers. ESPN's Dan Graziano and The Chicago Tribune both reported that Robinson, who is in the final year of his contract, has requested a trade. His agent, Brandon Parker, has denied the trade request. A-Rob had five catches for 74 yards on nine targets in the Week 1 win over the Lions and led the Bears with 98 receptions for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns in 2019. The 27-year-old will be facing a Giants secondary that allowed three TDs to Steelers receivers in Week 1, so Robinson will be a strong WR1 this weekend.
