Ben Roethlisberger Extra Sore After Monday Night Game
Ben Roethlisberger said he was pretty sore after the Monday night win over the Giants in Week 1, his first game in 364 days after suffering a season-ending elbow injury in 2019. "I was saying today I feel like I was just in a car accident. Yesterday I felt like I was in a trainwreck. Hopefully tomorrow it'll feel like I just fell off a bike," Roethlisberger said. But the good news is that Big Ben's surgically repaired right elbow feels fine. To help keep him fresh, he'll continue to take Wednesdays off. He looked a bit rusty early in Week 1, but Roethlisberger eventually settled in to go 21-for-32 for 229 yards and three touchdowns. Against a Broncos secondary that will be starting two secondaries this Sunday, Big Ben will be a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 play.
