The Baltimore Orioles selected Arkansas outfielder Heston Kjerstad with the second overall pick in the 2020 MLB draft on Wednesday. Kjerstad was a 36th-round pick by the Mariners out of high school in 2017. His 14 home runs in 2018 broke the school record by a freshman, and he followed that up with 17 more in his sophomore season last year. Kjerstad was the best left-handed power bat in this year's draft, which helped him go within the top five picks. The 21-year-old's strength and bat speed give him above-average raw power to all fields. Unlike Torkelson at No. 1 overall, though, Kjerstad has some swing-and-miss to his game because of his aggressiveness as a hitter.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
