Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (4/29/20) - DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings. FanDuel DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 4/29/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for ESports DFS contests.

Welcome back RotoBallers to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible.

We have a six-game slate that is a part of the ESL One: Road to Rio qualifier. We continue to see awesome contests on FanDuel and DraftKings this week for this tournament and we are getting some really quality CS:GO slates every day. Some of these teams will be familiar to you from earlier slates this month, while others still may not be yet.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis, and lineup picks for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel for Wednesday, April 29th, 2020 at 12:30 PM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

Road to Rio (Best of 3)

  • Dignitas (+285)vs. Vitality (-385)
  • Ence (+125) vs. Complexity (-160)
  • Fnatic (-550) vs. Heretics (+370)
  • Liquid (-950) vs. Envy (+525)
  • Bad News Bears (+195) vs. MIBR (-250)
  • Furia (-1600) vs. Yeah (+750)

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations

Kscerato has been on fire over his last 38 maps played. He has a 1.38 K/D ratio over that span of maps played and carries a 1.23 rating over that same stretch as well. What is very impressive is the differential between his kills and deaths per round.

Over the last three months, he has a .76 kill per round rate while only having a .55 death per round rate. In 17 career maps against Yeah, he has produced a 1.18 K/D ratio. Kscerato is the second-highest priced player on this slate on DraftKings and the third-highest on FanDuel so he might be tough to squeeze into your lineups but he could easily pay off in this matchup.

Brollan is the type of player that will make you pull your hair out if you watch him play. He is a very slow starting player but once he gets rolling, he heats up quickly! Brollan is the most expensive Fnatic’s player on DraftKings but is still relatively affordable on both sites where he won’t break the bank.

He is averaging 61 DraftKings points per game/ 96.73 FanDuel points per game and has a 1.11 K/D ratio over the last three months. Fnatic dropped the ball against Dignitas on yesterday's slate so I am sure we might see them bounce back in a big way against Heretics which means Brollan could be in for a big day.

ELiGE has been on fire since the start of 2020. He is carrying a 1.17 K/D ratio over the last 38 maps that he has played and has a +118 K/D differential over that span!

EliGE has a .77 kill rate while only having a .66 death rate and carries a 50.4% headshot percentage so he is very deadly when he is on his game. The unfortunate part is that he is one of the highest price players on this slate so jamming him into a lineup can be tricky with other options that provide a little bit of savings.

Other captain plays: yuurih, KRIMZ, ZyWo, NAF, Maka

CS:GO DFS Value Plays

Twistzz stands out to be a good value even though he is $7,000 on DraftKings which is close to the top of the value range. He is one of the better values on FanDuel as he is just $9,500 which is a great value price. He has a 1.09 K/D ratio since the beginning of 2020 and has a .67 kill per round rate over the same time span.

He has had a 1+ match rating on 65.8% of his maps played over the last four months so he is a safe play for both cash games and tournaments. This slate is tighter on pricing so he stands out to be a true value for Team Liquid.

kNgV- is another one that is at the top of the value range but sticks out for his upside. In his most recent three-game match against BMNB, he posted a +22 differential which adjusted to be a 1.43 K/D ratio. Since the start of 2020, kNgV- has had a 1.09 K/D ratio and a .73 kill per round rate and a .67 death per round rate. He gives you cheap exposure to one of the better teams on the slate and is one of my favorite tournament plays on the day.

MICHU is in the $6,200 range on DraftKings and while he draws a tough matchup in Liquid, he himself has been performing well for his cheap price. Over the last three months, he has had a 1.08 k/D ratio while having a .72 kill per round rate and a .67 death per round rate.

He has had the second-highest K/D rate on the team so far this year and has a +57 differential in his last 42 maps played. He should be a lower owned tournament play due to his matchup. (Fade on FanDuel, priced at 11k)

Other value plays: kioShima, Lucky,  Nivera, k0nfig

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks

Furia draws a top matchup on this slate against Yeah. Right now, Furia is ranked #11 in the world while Yeah is ranked #60 overall. Furia is winners of four of their last five games while Yeah has won three of their last five games with two of those being their opening games in the Road to Rio qualifier. Over the last three months, Furia has a team K/D ratio of 1.10 and has had three players post an above 1.20 K/D ratio.

Kscerato is the main guy to look at when considering stacking Furia. He has been playing amazing and it’s hard to leave him off of a stack regardless of his high price point. Yuurih is my second favorite from this game due to his cheaper price point when compared to Hen1. Hen1 is extremely viable but yuurih gives you cheaper exposure which makes him a more attractive play.

MIBR is a team that can get on a roll quickly and this seems to be a great spot to do so against the Bad News Bears. MIBR has won three out its last five games and is ranked #15 in the world. Bad News Bears is ranked #31 in the world and has lost two straight games so this is setting up nicely for MIBR.

The main three targets are in play for MIBR on this slate. FalleN is the most expensive MIBR player at $10,000 on DraftKings and $10,500 on FanDuel, so he is more of a value play on FanDuel if you are stacking MIBR. Fer and kNgV- would be the two guys to target due to the pricing discounts the offer and the upside that they present in this matchup.

Liquid is rolling right now winning five straight games while Envy has only won two of their last five games. They have accumulated a team K/D ratio of 1.04 since the beginning of 2020 and they are doing this against some high-quality competition. Liquid is one of the higher-priced teams overall so trying to get a full three-man stack will be difficult to do.

EliGE is the first guy to start a Liquid stack with or at least consider. His price is extremely high so fitting him in could jeopardize the rest of your lineup. NAF is a great compliment to ELiGE so if you want to either pair or leave off ELiGE, NAF is the way to go. He is carrying a 1.15 K/D ratio and his price point is $9,400 which is solid for him on this slate. Twistzz is the value piece that I would consider if you want to pair either ELiGE or NAF with a cheaper teammate.

Other stacks/ teams: Vitality, Heretics (Late addition, pricing is just too soft for upside)
