With his game showing signs of life for the second straight week, Phil Mickelson found himself firmly in contention heading into the final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a tournament that he won last year. The 49-year-old failed to turn back the clock Sunday after a disastrous double-bogey on the eighth hole led to him playing his last 11 holes in four-over par. Mickelson's final-round slide landed him a third-place finish. It was his best finish on the PGA Tour in a year. "Lefty" will look to keep the positive momentum going this week at the Genesis Invitational. He logged a T37 in the L.A.-based tournament last year. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
