5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Derrius Guice took the field in full pads on Day 1 of training camp, but did not take on a full workload, per Redskins.com. Barring some unforeseen development, Guice's progress through training camp as he returns from a torn ACL is likely to be the biggest story line this preseason for the Redskins. The Redskins' limited offensive success in 2018 came when they were able to enforce the ground game, and aging veteran Adrian Peterson led most of that charge. One has to wonder how much longer Peterson can continue defying the laws of time, so it will be interesting to see how quickly Guice is able to ramp it up and take over the Washington backfield for good. For fantasy owners with drafts in the next week or two, it'd be wise to exercise some caution with Guice until we have a better idea where he's at in terms of workload.--Chris O'Reilly
