Alex Bregman Blasts Off With 25th Home Run of the Season
With the Astros already leading five to zero, Alex Bregman put one of the final nails in Angels pitcher Matt Harvey's coffin of a start, hitting a 408-foot home run when the former Dark Knight tried to sneak a flat 91 mph fastball straight down the middle of the plate. Thursday's blast off of Harvey gave Bregman his team-leading 25th home run, along with 70 runs scored and 61 RBI. Only six home runs shy of last year's career-high 31 round-trippers, Bregman continues to show why he's not only one of fantasy's best assets but is also one of the best hitters in baseball.
