NBA DFS Prop Picks for 2/6/19 - Monkey Knife Fight

When the NBA tips off Wednesday night, the prime matchup is the late game, with the San Antonio Spurs visiting the Golden State Warriors.

The Spurs are not what they once were and are struggling away from home, with a 10-16 road record, but they’re solidly in a playoff spot and aren’t likely to give up easily.

On the Warriors side, they are starting to dominate as expected, winning 12 of their past 13 games. Seven of those wins have been by double digits and Golden State has topped 130 points in five of those games. So, good luck Spurs. You’re going to need it. Here are some angles to consider when letting the monkeys loose on the court tonight.

Editor's Note: Our friends at Monkey Knife Fight have released the best, most fun, fastest growing DFS props game! It's super simple to play and win real money. SAN ANTONIO-GOLDEN STATE

OVER/UNDERS

Stephen Curry UNDER 25.5 POINTS – Take a chance here, as Curry in six of his past dozen home games. Either the Spurs playing strong defense or the Warriors just getting their points from somewhere else works to get the desired result.

Bryn Forbes UNDER 2.5 THREES – The Spurs point guard can hit the outside shot but has been held to two or fewer threes in five of his past six road games. Do the Warriors seem like the team to reverse that trend?

RAPID FIRE

Kevin Durant +0.5 points vs. Steph Curry – They are both averaging more than 27 points per game at home this season, and Steph has had more extremes, so Durant plus the half point seems like the safer play.

DENVER-BROOKLYN

OVER/UNDERS

D'Angelo Russell OVER 20.5 POINTS – He runs hot and cold, but Russell appears to be hot again, and has scored at least 21 points in six of his past eight home games.

Nikola Jokic UNDER 10.5 REBOUNDS – Denver’s star center has some big nights on the boards, but is coming off a season-low three rebounds at Detroit and has had 10 rebounds or fewer in 14 of 26 road games this season.

DeMarre Carroll UNDER 1.5 THREES – Caroll has hit multiple three-pointers in 11 of 23 home games, but he’s also gone three straight at home without hitting a single three-pointer.

WASHINGTON-MILWAUKEE

OVER/UNDERS

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 25.5 POINTS – Giannis has gone for at least 26 points in 16 of 24 home games, and the Wizards are surely not even an average opponent, so that pushes the needle even more towards the over here.

Thomas Bryant UNDER 6.5 REBOUNDS – The 21-year-old has had some good moments and has hit double-digit rebounds in seven games this season, but he also played just 11:44 last game and has 10 rebounds, total, in his past three contests, so expecting seven-plus is a stretch.

NEW ORLEANS-CHICAGO

View Contest

OVER/UNDERS

Zach LaVine OVER 22.5 POINTS – LaVine has scored at least 23 points in 14 of 23 home games, including four of the past six games, with one of the misses landing on 22 points.

RAPID FIRE

Jrue Holiday -1.5 assists vs. Kris Dunn Dunn is dealing with a pelvis injury and has 25 assists in his past four home games, which doesn’t match up too favorably with Holiday, who puts up 8.1 assists per game on the road.

CHARLOTTE-DALLAS

View Contest

OVER/UNDERS

Luka Doncic OVER 6.5 REBOUNDS – In his past seven home games, Doncic has gone for seven or more rebounds five times, and landed on six once.

RAPID FIRE

Luka Doncic +4.5 points vs. Kemba Walker Walker is obviously a great scorer, but he averages 24.9 points per game on the road, while Doncic averages 22.3 points per game at home. That seems much closer to a 2.5-point line instead of 4.5, so go with the rising star rookie.

PHOENIX-UTAH

View Contest

OVER/UNDERS

Rudy Gobert UNDER 3.5 BLOCKS + STEALS – The Stifle Tower is a defensive force, but that number is a big one, and one that he’s fallen under in three of the past four home games.

Donovan Mitchell UNDER 2.5 THREES – Mitchell jacks up a lot of threes but doesn’t necessarily make a lot. He’s hit two or fewer in five of the past six home games.

HOUSTON-SACRAMENTO

View Contest

OVER/UNDERS

Buddy Hield OVER 19.5 POINTS – This is far from automatic, as Hield has gone for 20-plus in 14 of 27 home games, but he’s been averaging better than 21 points per game overall since the start of December.

James Harden OVER 4.5 THREES – It’s hard to find an under for Harden these days. He shoots so much, from everywhere, that the points pour in. In his past 10 road games, he’s hit at least five threes eight times.
