Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Casey DeSmith will be in net against the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night. It is DeSmith's ninth appearance in the Penguins last 11 games. Matt Murray has struggled mightily to begin the season. Due to this, DeSmith has become Mike Sullivan's preferred netminder. DeSmith possesses a 3-3-3 record on the year to go along with a 2.53 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage. Murray will undoubtedly take back the starting role at some point this season, but while he struggles, DeSmith is worth a pickup.
