Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews (shoulder) left Saturday's 3-2 victory against the Winnipeg Jets due to a shoulder injury and he was unable to return. After the game head coach Mike Babcock said Matthews will not practice on Sunday and he has already been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Calgary Flames. Matthews started off the season on fire with 10 goals and 16 points through his first seven games, but his production has come to a screeching halt with four consecutive scoreless outings. Now, he has an injury. Fantasy owners has certainly experienced quite the swing with The Big Cactus over the past 10 days. It's uncertain if he'll need to miss more time beyond Monday's game, so it's probably best to reserve him in all weekly fantasy pools heading into the new week.--Daniel Dobish
