DraftDaily Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/22/18): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftDaily on June 22, 2018. Justin Bales' MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

In preparation for today's freeroll on DraftDaily, below you can find my recommended lineup picks. If you've never played on DraftDaily before, it is fairly similar to the other sites, but you tend to lose more points. Points are taken away for strikeouts and home runs allowed, but you also earn points for sacrifice flies. Before creating a lineup, make sure you look over the scoring system.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftDaily on 6/22/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

Give Draft Daily a try today to see the difference and join the excitement. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

Draft Daily - DFS Starting Pitchers

Sean Newcomb - P, vs BAL ($10,500)

Newcomb has looked outstanding this season, especially over his last 10 starts. Over that span, he owns a 7-1 record with a 2.31 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP. He also boasts an 8.3 K/9, while holding his opponents to a 0.5 HR/9. He gets a great matchup against the Baltimore Orioles, and Newcomb is a -174 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs. The Orioles feature one of the lowest implied run totals on the slate at 3.7 runs.

CC Sabathia - P, at TB ($8,900)

Sabathia has quietly been enjoying a great seasons for the New York Yankees. Through 13 starts, he has recorded a 4-2 record with a 3.30 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. He has also allowed a 1.3 HR/9 to go along with a 7.2 K/9. He gets an elite matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays in one of the most pitcher friendly stadiums in the Majors. Sabathia is a -148 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs, and he can be used in all leagues.

Draft Daily - DFS Infielders

Elias Diaz - C, vs ARI ($3,300)

Diaz has been playing at a high level recently, recording a .296 average with a .556 slugging percentage and an .866 OPS over his last 10 games. He also owns a 59% hard-hit rate with a 95 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. Diaz has been a dominant option against left-handed pitching, posting 0.123 wOBA and 0.02 ISO differentials against lefties. He can be used in all leagues.

Max Muncy - 1B, at NYM ($4,500)

Muncy has displayed tremendous power over his last 10 games, recording four home runs over that span. He also possesses 52% hard-hit and 47% fly ball rates with a 94 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. Muncy gets a solid matchup against Zack Wheeler, and Muncy owns a 0.033 ISO differential against right-handed pitching. He's safe enough to be used in all leagues tonight.

DJ LeMahieu - 2B, vs MIA ($4,800)

LeMahieu has been an elite hitter against left-handed pitching throughout his career, and he gets an elite matchup against Wei-Yin Chen. Throughout his career, LeMahieu is hitting .346 in Colorado against left-handed pitching. He has struggled at times this season, but he has found ways to stay consistent with upside. LeMahieu is an elite option in all leagues.

Alex Bregman - 3B, vs KC ($5,200)

Bregman is playing at en extremely high level, hitting .268 with seven extra-base hits (three home runs) and 12 RBIs over his last 10 games. He gets a great matchup against Danny Duffy, as Duffy struggled against right-handed batters and Bregman is at his best against left-handed pitching. He's a safe option that comes with tremendous upside. Bregman is not going to come cheap, but he can be used in all leagues.

Trevor Story - SS, vs MIA ($5,700)

This is an ideal situation for Story. Wei-Yin Chen has struggled with home runs, and Story owns 0.094 wOBA and 0.109 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching. Furthermore, Story is hitting well over .300 at home this season. He comes with tremendous power against left-handed pitching, and that will only be enhanced from playing in Coors tonight. Story is an elite option.

Draft Daily - DFS Outfielders

Joc Pederson - OF, at NYM ($4,400)

Pederson has caught fire over his last 10 games, posting a .375 average with a 1.167 slugging percentage and a 1.590 OPS over that span. He also has recorded nine extra-base hits (five home runs) and seven RBIs in those games. He gets a solid matchup against Zach Wheeler tonight, and Pederson may be too hot to avoid.

Robbie Grossman - OF, vs TEX ($3,000)

Grossman is a cheap source of fantasy points. He's a consistent option, but he also comes with some home run power. He owns respectable 37% hard-hit and 43% fly ball rates over the last 15 days. Grossman also gets a solid matchup against Mike Minor, and he's expected to hit in the middle of the Twins lineup. Grossman can be used in all leagues.
