Jake Junis Takes Hard-Luck Loss
Jake Junis allowed three or less earned runs for the third straight start, but he was saddled with a loss after his squad failed to put up much run support for the cause. Junis struck out seven in the effort, raising his season strikeout rate to 8.29 per nine innings. While Junis' success this season is still mostly related to a high strand rate of 84 percent, his peripherals are strong enough that he should still be a mediocre fantasy pitcher moving forward.
