DraftKings Starting Pitchers

Sean Newcomb – P, ATL @ TB (DK - $8,500)

Newcomb is up against the Rays, who have a 23% strikeout rate vs left-handed pitchers, which is around league average. Newcomb has posted seven or more strikeouts in four of his last five starts and has allowed eight earned runs over that same span. The walks are a bit of an issue for him, as he has given up 11 walks in that five-game span, so one potential spot for trouble. This is a positive park shift going in his favor, as he will be in Tampa, which is one of the best pitcher’s parks in the league. He is going into, or past the sixth inning, so not at too much of a risk of getting pulled early, so plenty of opportunities for him to rack up the fantasy points.

Lance McCullers - P, HOU @ OAK (DK - $11,300)

McCullers is facing off the Athletics, who he faced off against two starts ago, and put up some big numbers. In that game, he finished with 32.6 DraftKings points, which was his second-highest this season. The Athletics have a 24.5% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, which is seventh worst in the league this season. McCullers makes a solid cash game option for tonight due to his strikeout upside, and the positive park factor in his favor. He has gone seven innings in three of his last four starts, so no worries of him getting pulled early.

DraftKings Infielders

Chris Iannetta – C, COL vs LAA (DK - $3,500)

Iannetta and the Rockies are back at home, so they will likely see some good ownership due to the park factor. Iannetta is off to a bit of a slower start this season, as he comes in with a .295 wOBA against right-handed pitchers. Last season he had a .349 wOBA and a .255 ISO. His numbers this year should be due for a bit of positive regression and could be in a good spot to start that, as he is up against Heaney, who is giving up a .334 wOBA and 1.53 HR/9 to righties.

Anthony Rizzo - 1B, CHC vs MIA (DK - $4,600)

Rizzo had the day off yesterday, so he should be set to return to the lineup tonight. He comes in with hits in four of his last five games, two of which were multi-hit games, along with three home runs. This season he has a .273 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers, but last season he .382 wOBA. That is a massive difference, and he makes yet another player who should be due for some positive regression. He is up against Urena, who is giving up a .349 wOBA to left-handed hitters this season.

Wilmer Difo - 2B, WAS @ SD (DK - $3,600)

Difo has a nine-game hitting streak in the works and makes a great mid-range priced option for tonight's slate. He is up against Clayton Richard, who is giving up a .395 wOBA to right-handed hitters this season, along with 1.86 HR/9. Those are some pretty rough numbers, and even though this is a pitcher's park, the Nationals offense always has nice upside and should be able to take advantage of the weak pitching.

Kyle Seager - 3B, SEA @ TOR (DK - $3,600)

This season Seager has a .315 wOBA and a .235 ISO vs right-handed pitchers, putting him in a good spot tonight, as he will also have the platoon advantage. He is up against Marcus Stroman, who is giving up a .361 wOBA to left-handed hitters this year. This is a positive park shift going in Seager's favor, so plenty of positives for him.

Manny Machado - SS, BAL vs KC (DK - $4,900)

Machado is one of the top hitters in the league, and when he is facing a left-handed pitcher, as he is tonight, you want him in your lineups. He has a massive .441 wOBA and a .379 ISO vs lefty pitchers this season and will continue to be the shining spot in the Orioles lineup. Back at home after a long road trip will bring a much needed positive park shift, just load him up tonight.

DraftKings Outfielders

A.J. Pollock - OF, ARI @ LAD (DK - $5,100)

Pollock is off to a very hot start this season and has a very interesting matchup in front of him tonight. He will be facing off against Rich Hill, who will be making his first start since April 14, as he has been dealing with a finger/blister issue. Pollock comes into this game with a .430 wOBA and a .447 ISO vs left-handed pitchers this season and makes a great one-off in a tournament lineup.

Leury García - OF, CWS vs PIT (DK - $3,400)

Garcia comes into this game with a four-game hitting streak in the works, with one home run in that span. He should be set to lead-off again, which is always a nice boost, for the potential extra at-bat. He is up against Ivan Nova, who is giving up a .339 wOBA to left-handed hitters this season.
