After a promising opening round at the Zurich Classic, Gary Woodland suffered an awful finish to his round on Friday, condemning him to another missed cut. Playing alongside his teammate Daniel Berger, the two men shot an impressive 66 in four-ball action to open the event. But with four holes to play of their foursomes round on Friday, Woodland missed a bogey putt from inside three feet and then dumped an iron shot in the water on the next hole, which proved very costly for the two men who ended up missing the cut by two strokes. Woodland is set to tee it up again this week at the Wells Fargo Championship. Woodland has finished no lower than 24th at this week's host course Quail Hollow in his past four visits. That run includes a T22 finish at the 2017 PGA Championship.--Gianni
