FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/27/18): NBA DFS Lineups

Three games on Friday night as the playoffs continue. Not a lot of injuries of signicance or quality bench players to choose from, but we can attack those GPP’s with guys who are generously priced and are capable of exceeding their values. Toronto/Washington is the projected highest-scoring game on the slate, with OKC/Utah and Cleveland/Indiana following suit.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/27/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like DraftKings. Say hello to me on Twitter @Den_Clausen and let me know how I did, or didn’t. Good luck everyone!

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, @ UTA ($11,000) Westbrook’s play has been somewhat unpredictable this postseason. After averaging a triple-double (again) during the regular season, he has been up-and-down as it relates to his offensive production, sporting an un-Westbrook-like 96.3 Offensive Rating in this series so far. However, his Usage Percentage is still impressive and he will continue to get touches as well as play heavy minutes, so let’s enjoy this price reduction because it will likely be higher if there is a Game 7.

John Wall - PG, vs. TOR ($10,800)

If you still are hesitant on inserting Westbrook into your DFS lineup on Friday night, consider picking up John Wall instead. Wall’s statistics have been impressive across the board, averaging 26.6 points, 12.2 assists, 2.6 steals and shooting nearly 45 percent from the field through five games this postseason. Though his 18 percent average from deep in this series is hideous, he certainly makes up for it in those other aforementioned categories. It doesn’t hurt either that this game is projected to be the highest-scoring matchup of the night as well as the fastest-paced.

Donovan Mitchell - vs. OKC ($8,700)

If you are thinking about inserting Victor Oladipo in at the two spot, let me try to sway you in another direction. Donovan Mitchell has been fantastic all season and has been even better in the playoffs, averaging 26.6 points per game, which is actually 6.4 more than Oladipo. He’s also averaging more rebounds, more shots per contest, and 5.44 more fantasy points so far this postseason in addition to playing in a game that will run much faster than Cleveland/Indiana will on Friday night.

Other FanDuel DFS Forwards to Consider: DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Korver (if George Hill sits), Delon Wright (if Fred VanVleet sits), Ricky Rubio

FanDuel DFS Forward

LeBron James - SF, @ IND ($12,300)

After dropping 44 points against the Pacers on Wednesday night, including hitting the game-winning three-pointer, you know LeBron will be fired up and anxious to close this one out on Friday. He has been an animal in this series, and if he can only get the rest of his team to follow suit on a regular basis, maybe we will be talking about this team come Eastern Conference Finals time.

Paul George - SF, @ UTA ($8,400)

I think the person at FanDuel in charge of setting the prices was drunk because the asking price for Paul George is too good to be true. Despite averaging 21.9 points, two steals and a 40 percent three-point percentage this postseason, George hasn’t seen a significant price increase. With Westbrook priced at $11,000 and George priced at $8,400, you have two guys capable of exceeding their respective values by far, all while leaving you with plenty of room for some more quality players.

Other FanDuel DFS Forwards to Consider: Kelly Oubre Jr. (if Otto Porter Jr. sits), Lance Stephenson, Joe Ingles, Derrick Favors, Mike Scott (if Otto Porter Jr. Sits), Domantas Sabonis

FanDuel DFS Center

Jonas Valanciunas - C, @ WAS ($6,100)

Valanciunas is as streaky as ever, but when he gets rolling, he is as good as it gets (love that movie). He is a double-double threat every time he steps on the court and hopefully he has another game like the one he had in Game 5.

Other FanDuel DFS Centers to Consider: Marcin Gortat
