The Seattle Mariners made a pair of roster moves on Tuesday morning, as they have added outfielder Jayson Werth and pitcher Roenis Elias to their Triple-A affiliate, the Tacoma Rainiers. In corresponding moves, the team has released pitcher Josh Smith and infielder Matt Hague. Werth appeared in 70 games last season for the Washington Nationals and hit 10 home runs while knocking in 29 runs and carrying a .226 batting average. Elias rejoins the Mariners organization following a short stint in Boston. Elias made 49 starts for the M's between the 2014 and 2016 seasons. For now, both Werth and Elias are off the fantasy radar.--Brendan KennealyRead More News
