Joey Kaufman of the Orange County Register writes that Angels starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker will be undergoing further tests on his injured forearm. The results of an MRI on Shoemaker showed no major elbow trauma, and he is, "scheduled to undergo additional tests next week, including an electromyography and nerve condition study Monday in Los Angeles." There's no official word on how long he will be out, but it seems he won't be back any time soon.--Michael
