DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (4/6/17): NBA DFS Advice

The top DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 4/6/17 by Harris Yudin. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings.

The NBA season is winding down, and several teams on Thursday’s six-game slate are fighting for playoff position. Karl-Anthony Towns, John Wall, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jimmy Butler all sit right around $10k, serving as the headliners for the night.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/6/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @hayudi18.

DraftKings DFS Guards

John Wall - PG, @ NY ($9,900)

Wall always offers massive upside — 65 or more Draftkings points in three of last six games — but should also be a safe bet to produce in an appealing matchup with the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Last time he played at the Garden, the 26-year-old managed 29 and 13 with five rebounds and three steals. Wall will draw Ron Baker defense on Thursday, which isn’t exactly daunting. The four-time all-star should continue to feast as he looks to push the Wizards into the third spot in the East.

C.J. McCollum - PG/SG, vs. MIN ($6,900)

McCollum is capable of catching fire at any time, with at least 45 DK points in three of his last seven games. He owns a career-high 23.2 points per game on the season, shooting 48.5 percent from the floor and 42.2 percent from deep in the process. The Timberwolves have been vulnerable to the shooting guard spot of late, allowing 41 points to Klay Thompson on Tuesday and 32 on 11-for-13 shooting to McCollum himself on March 25. McCollum is an upside play all the way, with just about all of his appeal coming in tournament play.

Gary Payton - PG, @ IND ($3,000)

Payton signed a two-year deal with the Bucks earlier this week, and saw a ton of run in Tuesday’s tilt against the Thunder. Granted, Milwaukee lost that game by 31 points, and it’s unlikely Payton sees 30 minutes in any other game this season, but the potential for an increased role while Malcolm Brogdon sits with a sore back makes Payton a shot-in-the-dark DFS option for Thursday night’s game against the Pacers. At the minimum, he will provide a ton of cap relief for those looking to snag a couple of the top-tier players on this slate.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Paul George - SF/PF, vs. MIL ($8,900)

The Pacers are trying to stave off the Heat for the final spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, and George has been playing like a man on fire lately. The 26-year-old is averaging 28.2 points and 7.6 rebounds since the beginning of March, surpassing 50 Draftkings five times in his last eight games played. Milwaukee has yielded the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards, so George could be in for another big showing On Thursday night, holding value in all formats.

Aaron Gordon - PF, vs. BKN ($6,500)

Gordon has become more involved in Orlando’s offense since Serge Ibaka was shipped off to Toronto. The 21-year-old had a rough night on Tuesday against the Cavaliers, but he had managed over 50 DK points in each of his two previous games. On Thursday night, the Magic will host the last-place Nets, who, despite taking a three-game winning streak into the contest, still allow the second-most points per game— as well as the second-most fantasy points to power forwards.

Maurice Ndour - PF, vs. WAS ($3,700)

Ndour drew the start at power forward on Tuesday with Kristaps Porzingis sidelined, and posted a double-double for the first time in his career. The 24-year-old rookie hit an absurd 12x on a $3k price tag, and his price only jumped up to $3,700, so there’s still room for plenty of value if Porzingis misses Thursday night’s game against the Wizards.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Brook Lopez - C, @ ORL ($7,000)

Lopez hasn’t pulled down double-digit rebounds since November, but he’s still grabbing over six per game since the beginning of March, averaging 21.4 points in the process. The 29-year-old has reached at least 35 Draftkings points in six of his last 10 games, including 44.75 in just 28 minutes against Orlando on Sunday. He will have another plus matchup on Thursday night against a Magic team that ranks 25th against centers.

Robin Lopez - C, @ PHI ($4,900)

While the more defensive-minded of the Lopez twins is not the most consistent producer, he is capable of a double-double on any given night. He will look to put up such a stat line against the Sixers, who sit in the bottom 10 in both team rebounding and points allowed per game, and remain without Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor for various reasons. Lopez posted enough DK points to hit 6x value at his current price twice in the last five games, and can do so again on Thursday.
