We've got a 10-game slate scheduled for this evening, with five games (of the seven with point totals listed at this time) having point projections above 205. In other words, there are a lot of appealing games for DFS players, particularly Golden State at Denver (211), Dallas at Oklahoma City (211.5) and Milwaukee at Washington (208) highlighting the bunch. Be wary of teams on the back-end of back-to-backs (tired legs, injuries and minute restrictions.) The Knicks, Mavericks, Pelicans, Pacers, Celtics, Rockets, Thunder and Timberwolves all played on Tuesday night.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for FanDuel for 1/13/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Point Guards

Tyreke Evans (at SAC, $7,800)

Tyreke is back to his drive-to-the-basket-at-all-costs ways, and as a result, his fantasy production has skyrocketed after taking a few dips in early and mid December. Not only has he recorded 36 fantasy points or more in each of his last four games, he's playing a lot of minutes, which helps to keep his floor high with opportunities aplenty. His matchup tonight is very appealing, playing against Sacramento in what should be a fast-paced, high scoring contest and at this price tag, he's still somewhat of a bargain. The Kings surrender the fourth-most points to opposing point guards of the teams in action tonight, trailing only Utah, Brooklyn and Indianapolis.

Value Play: Jeff Teague (at CHR, $5,800)

Contrarian Tournament Play: Chris Paul (vs MIA, $9,600)

 

FanDuel DFS Shooting Guards

Klay Thompson (at DEN, $7,600)

The Splash Brothers have an ideal matchup tonight in a projected high scoring game against a Denver team that doesn't do much to slow down opposing guards. For the production I'm expecting out of Klay tonight, even with a price tag above 7K, I'm considering him a bargain. I normally try not to label anyone as a cash and tournament option, but in this price range with the ceiling he owns and consistency Thompson plays with, he fits the bill.

Value Play: Arron Afflalo (at BKN, $4,700) and Eric Gordon (at SAC, $4,800)

 

FanDuel DFS Small Forwards

Andrew Wiggins (at HOU, $6,500)

Due to the facts that his fantasy point totals can be up and down and he (normally) relies heavily on hitting shots to score on FanDuel, I'm not confident in Wiggins enough to play him in cash tonight. That said, I love the price tag and the potential for a 40+ point outburst, and as such, he's one of my favorite tournament plays of the evening. Houston has an abysmal defense and Wiggins is an incredibly tough one-on-one defensive matchup for whoever draws the short straw in guarding him Wednesday night. Over his last 10 games, Wiggins has exceeded his price implied value in six of those 10, by an average of 3.28 points.

Value Play: Shabazz Muhammad (at HOU, $3,800)

 

FanDuel DFS Power Forwards

Cody Zeller (vs CHR, $4,900)

While my projection models still project Zeller to have a pretty low floor (6-8 fantasy points), his production has been steady recently and more importantly for tonight, he draws a nice matchup. In his last eight games, Zeller has only played less than 28 minutes once, and that was in a 19 point loss to the Thunder. Helping to raise his floor is the fact that he's attempting more shots than ever before and finally, the reason I'm so high on Zeller tonight is due to Atlanta being the second worst rebounding team in the NBA. He should be incredibly active on the glass and could hit value even if shots aren't falling.

Tournament Play: Dirk Nowitzki (at OKC, $7,100)

Punt Play: John Henson (at WAS, $3,600)

 

FanDuel DFS Centers

DeMarcus Cousins (vs NO, $10,600)

DMC has been on fire over the past week, exceeding value in his last five games, four times eclipsing 50 fantasy points and twice eclipsing 60. On a night where there are lots of value plays at other positions and the options at center don't look to appealing - whether its due to injuries, matchups, back-to-backs or some combination of the aforementioned - I'm absolutely paying up for Cousins. The Pelicans are middle of the pack in terms of fantasy production allowed to opposing centers, but DMC is a different breed and I have a hard time imagining anyone on the Pelicans roster keeping him in check tonight.
