FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks (Wildcard Round): Russell Wilson, Antonio Brown, Jordan Reed

It's the playoffs, everyone! A great time of the year for fans who have teams in it, and a great time of the year for fans who don't, but are wishing that their friends' teams lose. I'm a Green Bay fan, and while the season hasn't gone the way I was hoping, they made the playoffs. It's going to be a rocky time in the Bales household this week, as my brother, Jason, is a Redskins fan. Enough of that, though. It's time to get down to fantasy.

In this edition I will be headlining a few of my top DFS plays on FanDuel for the Wildcard Round of the playoffs for the daily fantasy football season.

These DFS lineup picks can range from the elite tier of players to a few guys that I feel are a bit overpriced on FanDuel. Let's get to it!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

FanDuel DFS Quarterbacks for Wildcard Round

Russell Wilson (at MIN, $8,600)

It’s a small slate, and it would be a bad idea to completely ignore Russell Wilson. He has been on fire recently, as he has scored at least 20 fantasy points in seven consecutive games, including three over 30 fantasy points. He gets a great matchup against the Vikings, who he has already dominated this season, and Seattle will look to keep their hot streak alive. Since there are limited guys to target, playing it safe with Wilson may be the best choice.

Kirk Cousins (vs GB, $8,000)

Cousins has been outstanding recently, and he gets a good matchup against Green Bay this week. The Packers have really been struggling lately, and Cousins has thrown for 11 touchdowns in his last three games, including a three touchdown performance last week, in which he only had 15 attempts before getting pulled. He has also been a better quarterback at home this season, and while he comes with a bit more risk than someone like Russell Wilson, he’s a great option for his price tag this week.

FanDuel DFS Running Backs for Wildcard Round

Christine Michael (at MIN, $6,500)

Michael is only in play if Marshawn Lynch is ruled out this week. He was recently resigned by the Seahawks, and he managed 102 yards on 17 carries against a tough Arizona defense last week. Michael has always had plenty of talent, and it looks like he’s finally matured enough for a real role on the Seahawks team. The Vikings have had an average run defense this season, and the Seahawks are on fire right now. If Lynch is out, Michael is one of the best options for his price at running back.

Fitzgerald Toussaint (at CIN, $5,700)

It looks like DeAngelo Williams will be out this week, which means Toussaint will likely take the majority of the touches at running back for Pittsburgh. After the Williams injury in week 17, Toussaint managed only 24 yards on 12 carries, which isn’t impressive, but it’s encouraging that he received that many touches. He’s extremely cheap, and he should have a decent fantasy floor. He’ll allow you to get the bigger name guys, such as Antonio Brown, and that’s a great reason to use him this week.

FanDuel DFS Wide Receivers for Wildcard Round

Antonio Brown (at CIN, $9,500)

Brown will likely be owned universally this week, and for good reason. He’s the best fantasy wide receiver in the NFL, and he’s coming off a ridiculous game against the Browns. The Steelers best chance at winning this game is to get the ball in Brown’s hands and allow him to get creative. They will likely be looking to him early and often, and he is a major threat regardless of where the Steelers are on the field. He has a fairly good floor, and his ceiling is as high as anyone’s on the slate. He isn’t going to come cheap, but there should be enough value to fit him into your lineups this week.

James Jones (at WAS, $5,700)

After an extremely hot start to the season, Jones has really cooled off. He ended the year with 50 receptions, 890 yards, and 8 touchdowns, which is respectable, especially for a guy that was cut during the preseason. When Rodgers needs a big play, he has been going to Jones all season, and he’ll likely use him early and often in a must win game, as well. He ended the season on a high note, as he had 4 receptions for 102 yards, and he gets a good matchup against an injured Washington secondary. Jones is fairly cheap, and he can be used in all leagues this week.

FanDuel DFS Tight Ends for Wildcard Round

Jordan Reed (vs GB, $7,400)

If you’re using Kirk Cousins this week, it would be wise to pair him with Jordan Reed. Reed was able to stay healthy this season, and he dominated with 87 receptions, 952 yards, and 11 touchdowns. He barely played last week, as the Redskins got an early lead and the game meant nothing, but he caught a total of five touchdowns in the three weeks prior to that. He’s a red zone threat, and Cousins looks to him all over the field. He isn’t going to come cheap for a tight end, but he has been consistent for the most part, and he has tremendous upside. There’s no reason to avoid him on this slate.
