Wide Receiver (WR) Rankings Analysis

By Edward Gorelik (@EdwardGorelik)

Brandon Marshall receives a huge boost for me in PPR formats, Gailey's scheme loves using the biggest athlete on the field as often as they can and Marshall's not only the biggest athlete, but also the best overall player.

He's only failed to reach 1000 yards twice, in his rookie year and last year after injury; but his injury history isn't heavy enough to actually make you want to shy away. Marshall should be an easy lock for 80+ catches and 1000 yards.

Allen Robinson is a player I'm high on in standard as well, but in PPR he becomes a legitimate WR1 candidate. Last year, Robinson was on his way to 130 targets as a rookie with a rookie QB on a weak offense.

If Bortles sees progression, Robinson's going to see dividends in targets, catches, yards, everything and with that offenses new pieces (like Rashad Greene and TJ Yeldon) they should be staying on the field a lot more often.
