Davis Warren Officially Named Stanford's Starting Quarterback
Stanford head coach Tavita Pritchard officially named Davis Warren the team's starting quarterback on Tuesday, according to On3. The California native is entering his sixth year of college football after spending the last five seasons at Michigan. In nine games in 2024, Warren completed 64.1% of his passes for 1,199 yards, seven touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He was expected to win the Stanford QB1 job all offseason, but the decision has now been made official. The Cardinal open the season on August 29 in a Week 0 meeting against Hawaii.
