Connor McMichael Picks Up Three Points Sunday
Washington Capitals forward Connor McMichael led the offense in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, scoring two goals and delivering one assist. This was his third game of the season with at least three points. McMichael has flashed talent throughout the campaign, but his performance has been inconsistent. Luckily for Washington, the 25-year-old is having one of his strongest stretches late in the regular season as the team tries to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. In his last nine outings, McMichael has had four goals and seven assists. He is four points shy of a second consecutive 50-point year, sitting on 14 goals and 32 assists in 77 games.
