Three top fantasy baseball prospects - Colt Emerson, Robby Snelling, Charlie Condon - that can make big impacts. These MLB prospects are waiver wire pickups or stashes.
Stahsing high-impact prospects can be the difference between winning and losing your fantasy league. Managers who got ahead of the curve and stashed Nolan McLean in the second half of 204 season were rewarded with high-level production over the final month.
In this piece, we will spotlight three high-end prospects who are quickly approaching their respective MLB debuts and could provide high-end value as soon as they earn the call.
Should fantasy managers stash these high-end prospects? Let's dive in!

Colt Emerson, SS, Seattle Mariners
Current Level: AAA
Availability: 5% rostered
2026 AAA Stats: 7 G, .269/.296/.462, 2 2B, 1 HR
The Mariners should just make Colt Emerson the everyday SS.
I get it, JP Crawford is good in the clubhouse or whatever.
But he had a .370 slugging percentage with poor defense and baserunning last season.
Emerson would raise the ceiling for this offense.

Colt Emerson is back in this column after signing an eight-year, $95 million extension this past week. That gives me confidence that Emerson will be called up sooner rather than later.
This is a talented infielder who was terrific in the minors last year, including a 133 wRC+ in 161 plate appearances at Double-A. As with Waldschmidt, the Mariners likely want Emerson to get some experience at Triple-A before bringing him up.
So far, Emerson is slashing .278/.316/.500 with one homer in 20 plate appearances there. If he can continue to put up strong production, we could see him up with the Mariners soon.
Cole Young is holding it down at second base, currently slashing .320/.346/.520 with one home run, but he's also striking out at a 30.8% clip with a 3.8% walk rate, so this start feels unsustainable. If regression hits Young hard, the Mariners can replace him with Emerson. Given that they signed Emerson to an extension, it's clear that they have big plans for him as soon as this year.
With J.P. Crawford being activated off the injured list, the best path to playing time for Emerson is for him to continue mashing while Young struggles at the big-league level. Make sure to stash Emerson on your NA spot if you have one, as he's a polished hitter with the ability to make an impact right away.

Robby Snelling, SP, Miami Marlins
Current Level: AAA
Availability: 5% rostered
2026 AAA Stats: 8 IP, 4.50 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 10 SO, 4 BB
Sitting in the top spot once again is Robby Snelling of the Marlins. Snelling carries must-stash upside in all standard leagues in Week 2, as his path to the major leagues remains quite clear.
Snelling just missed the Opening Day roster as the Marlins opted to give Chris Paddack the final spot in the starting rotation. However, Paddack had a rough season debut, allowing a hefty eight hits and eight runs over four innings against the Chicago White Sox. In this outing, Paddack did manage to strike out six hitters but allowed two long balls, which did most of the damage.
Snelling, on the other hand, has a quote from the Triple-A level and should contend for his MLB debut in the near future. In his season debut at Jacksonville, Snelling tossed four innings of one-run ball with just one hit and two walks. He struck out three.
This was another impressive outing for Snelling at the top level of the minor leagues, and he is continuing to enjoy the success he enjoyed in the second half of the 2025 campaign. He began the 2025 season with Double-A and carried a solid 3.61 ERA with a 1.22 WHIP over 72 2/3 innings. However, once he reached Triple-A, the young southpaw took a massive step forward.
In his first stint with Triple-A, the former 39th overall selection logged 63 2/3 innings to the tune of a 1.27 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and an elite 81:17 K:BB. In this stint, Snelling posted a stellar 32.9% K%, which marked the highest of a single stint in his MiLB career. The left-hander also lowered his walk rate to 6.9%, compared to the 7.3% he held at Double-A.
Additionally, given that Max Meyer and Janson Junk also have spots in the rotation but both have dealt with either extensive injury histories or have had limited success in the majors, another dominant outing from Snelling at Triple-A could push the team's hand.
Snelling remains the No. 1 pitcher to stash in all formats as he not only has a path to join Miami in April, but also possesses high-end upside that is worth keeping on your bench.

Charlie Condon, 1B/OF, Colorado Rockies
Current Level: AAA
Availability: 5% rostered
2025 AAA Stats: 5 G, .389/.500/.778, 1 2B, 2 HR, 1 SB
Charlie Condon was the third overall pick in the 2024 draft and would have difference-making fantasy upside in Coors Field. He enjoyed a solid first year as a professional, slashing .268/.376/.444 with 14 home runs, 58 RBI, and 59 runs in 99 games in the minor leagues. The Rockies were clearly impressed, as they made it clear that he would have the chance to win their starting first base job in spring training.
He did just about everything he could, batting .385 with three home runs and four doubles this spring, but the job went to TJ Rumfield, who hit five homers. It makes sense to give Rumfield the shot first, since he is older with less prospect pedigree, but that doesn’t mean Condon will be stuck in the minors all season. The 22-year-old has gotten off to a hot start during his first Triple-A experience, going 7-for-18 to start 2026 with a two-homer game on March 28th. He offers elite max exit velocities and raw power, and would be worth an add in all leagues when he is promoted.
112.6 mph rocket for Top 100 prospect Charlie Condon's first Triple-A @ABQTopes homer!

Even if Rumfield continues to impress at first base, the Rockies currently have Edouard Julien and Troy Johnston starting games as the designated hitter, which is hardly a roadblock for the 66th-best-ranked prospect in baseball. If they thought he was good enough to compete for a job in spring, it shouldn't take too much subpar performance from that duo at DH before Colorado is ready to make the move.
