Seattle Mariners outfielder Brennen Davis (illness, hamstring) was removed early during Saturday's Cactus League matchup against the Los Angeles Angels. Davis appears to have tweaked something while swinging the bat. He was moving gingerly to first base before being removed from the contest. According to Ryan Divish, Davis was likely dehydrated from the heat. Regardless of the reason, it sounds lIke Davis is going to be fine moving forward. He has done a nice job at the plate this spring as he looks to earn a spot on the 26-man roster. This spring, Davis is 12-for-34 with four home runs and six RBI, but he'll need to keep it up if he wants to crack the Opening Day roster.--Andy Webb
