Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson (upper body) is out week-to-week. He sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's win over the Seattle Kraken. Sanderson will miss his first game of the season on Monday night versus the Vancouver Canucks. Nikolas Matinpalo (undisclosed) is set to fill the void in the lineup. With Sanderson sidelined, the Senators' blue line will lean more on Thomas Chabot, who will move to the first defensive pairing and the top power-play unit. Chabot collected two assists on Saturday and has tallied 27 points (six goals, 21 assists) in 47 games overall this season.--Taavi Pailk
