Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 18:
Troy Franklin, WR, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos wide receiver Troy Franklin saw another dropoff in snap share during the 20-13 win against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17. After posting an uptrend in snaps with 50% in Week 15 and 64% in Week 16, Franklin was only on the field for 38% of snaps in Week 17 despite not having to compete with rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant (concussion) for snaps.
Franklin still caught all four of his targets for a modest 17 yards and no touchdowns. The Broncos will host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18, and Franklin will seemingly remain a volatile option until otherwise noted.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee, ankle) appears to be trending towards playing in the Week 18 regular-season finale on Sunday versus the division-rival Chicago Bears, according to Jeremy Reisman of Pride of Detroit. St. Brown said that outside of every-game injury risk, "there's no concern of exacerbating his current injuries." The 26-year-old wideout didn't practice on Wednesday, but his return to the field on Thursday suggests he'll be active this weekend for fantasy managers still playing for a title.
He played through knee irritation in the Christmas Day loss to the Minnesota Vikings last Thursday and caught eight of 13 targets for 68 yards as one of the lone bright spots for the team's offense. As St. Brown looks to finish his 2025 season strong, fantasy managers should consider him a must-start WR1 against Chicago if he's active on Sunday.
Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington posted another fantastic performance in Week 17, notching his second straight 10-target, 100-plus-yard game as the Jaguars defeated the Indianapolis Colts 23-17. Over the past two games, Washington has hauled in 14 of his 20 targets for 260 yards and a touchdown, and over this span, he has emerged as the go-to target for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and is a must-add for fantasy managers still competing in Week 18. Washington has proved throughout the season that he can provide fantasy value with other receivers injured or not playing.
Still, even with everyone healthy and a lot of mouths to feed, such as Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, Brenton Strange, and Washington, it appears Washington has moved ahead in the pecking order of late. The biggest beneficiary of all these weapons is Lawrence, who has been playing the best football of his career of late. Week 18 should also present a good matchup against the struggling Tennessee Titans.
Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings caught two of four targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in Sunday night's 42-38 win over the Chicago Bears. With the score, Jennings has visited the end zone in five straight games and in seven of the 49ers' last eight contests. Jennings had a quiet night until the 38-yard touchdown reception late in the fourth quarter. The play ended up being the game winner in the shootout with Chicago.
Jennings' nose for the end zone has been his saving grace in fantasy football in 2025. Sunday's performance was the tenth time in 14 games played where he failed to reach 50 receiving yards. With one week to go in the regular season, Jennings is sitting on a 51-608-9 line. He and the 49ers face the Seahawks in Week 18.
