EPL DFS Goalies

Bart Verbruggen - DK $3.8K || FD $8

Opponent - at Arsenal FC

Arsenal FC, despite ongoing inconsistencies, continues to win match after match. They are not doing it without shot volume either. In their last five domestic matches, the opposing goalie they have faced has produced at least five fantasy points. In Bart Verbruggen’s previous five starts in all competitions, he has made 21 saves, conceded seven goals, and recorded two clean sheets.

Furthermore, in Brighton & Hove Albion’s last five domestic fixtures, they are bottom-ten in Goals Against Per 90 and bottom-five in every other meaningful metric. This will come down to Verbruggen’s ability to make saves. As long as he can secure volume, he will efficiently meet and exceed value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Alisson Becker (DK $6K || FD $14) vs. Wolverhampton FC
  • Đorđe Petrović (DK $4.4K || FD $10) at Brentford FC

EPL DFS Forwards

Jarrod Bowen - DK $8.2K || FD $20

Opponent - vs. Fulham FC

Jarrod Bowen is lining up to be in charge of the majority of set pieces for the Hammers this weekend. In his last five domestic appearances, he has produced two goals, 15 shots, one chance created, 19 crosses, nine corners, six tackles, and one clearance.

From a Per 90 against viewpoint in Fulham FC’s last five domestic fixtures, they are bottom-five in Goals, Chances Created, and In-the-Box Shots and they are bottom-ten in every other meaningful metric. They are also averaging two goals against per match over their last five away fixtures. There is a chance that Bowen could share set pieces and even if he does, he still holds enough open-play value to make him worthwhile.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Bukayo Saka (DK $11.2K || FD $22) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Dwight McNeil (DK $6.2K || FD $10) at Burnley FC

EPL DFS Midfielders

Alexis Mac Allister - DK $5.2K || FD $13

Opponent - vs. Wolverhampton FC

Alexis Mac Allister may be the highest-owned player in any position on the slate this weekend. The versatile box-to-box midfielder is projected to be in charge of full set pieces for Liverpool in their home matchup versus Wolverhampton FC. In Mac Allister’s most recent five appearances in all competitions–four starts–he has produced seven shots, two crosses, one corner, six tackles, two interceptions, six clearances, and two blocks.

From a Per 90 against viewpoint, the Wolves are bottom five in Shots, Chances Created, In-the-Box Goals, and Penalty Area Defense over their last five domestic matches. They are also bottom-ten in both Goals and In-the-Box Shots. Mac Allister is slated to play as an attacking midfielder in this home matchup and is expected to maintain and exceed value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Harry Wilson (DK $9.7K || FD $19) at West Ham United
  • Marcus Tavernier (DK $7.3K || FD $19) at Brentford FC

EPL DFS Defenders

Defenders

Lucas Pires - DK $3.1K || FD $8

Opponent - vs. Everton FC

Lucas Pires is another player who is expected to exceed 20 percent ownership in all contests this weekend. The newcomer to the Clarets’ starting XI has immediately taken over the majority of set pieces. He has also produced two shots, one chance created, eight crosses, six corners, four tackles, and five clearances.

Everton’s defensive capabilities have improved, but they remain in the bottom five in both Chances Created Against Per 90 and In-the-Box Shots Against Per 90. Considering Pires’s role and salary for today, it will not take much for him to meet value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Jeremie Frimpong (DK $4.3K || FD $11) vs. Wolverhampton FC
  • Michael Keane (DK $3K || FD $13) at Burnley FC

Corner Takers

  • Arsenal FC: Bukayo Saka/Declan Rice
  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Brajan Gruda/Ferdi Kadioğlu
  • Brentford FC: Vitaly Janelt/Mathias Jensen
  • AFC Bournemouth: Marcus Tavernier/Lewis Cook
  • Burnley FC: Lucas Pires
  • Everton FC: James Garner/Dwight McNeil
  • Liverpool FC: Alexis Mac Allister
  • Wolverhampton FC: André
  • West Ham United: Jarrod Bowen/Freddie Potts
  • Fulham FC: Harry Wilson

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
