Seth Jarvis Considered Week-to-Week
Carolina Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis (upper body) has been labeled as week-to-week. He will miss a second consecutive game on Tuesday night against the Florida Panthers, and a few more absences look to be on the horizon for Jarvis due to an upper-body injury. On Saturday, Carolina placed its top goal-scorer on Injured Reserve. Jarvis has potted 19 goals in 34 games, adding 10 assists. He is also a physical presence in the lineup, registering 43 hits this campaign. With Jarvis on the shelf, Jackson Blake has an opportunity to skate on the first line. After a rough few weeks, Blake has averaged a point per game over his last four outings. He has tallied 10 goals and 22 points in 35 games during the season.
