EPL DFS Goalies

Lukas Hrádecky - DK $4.9K || FD $11

Opponent - vs. Galatasaray S.K.

Lukas Hrádecky is in one of the top optimal matchups for the goalie position on the slate. From a Per 90 Against viewpoint in AS Monaco’s last five UEFA Champions League (UCL), the hosts are the eighth-worst in Goals and the worst in Shots. They are also the second-worst in both Chances Created and In-the-Box Shots.

In Galatasaray S.K.’s last five UCL matches, they are just above bottom-half in Goals Per 90, and they are a top-ten club in Shots Per 90. As long as Monaco’s backline can limit high-danger attempts on net, Hrádecky will be expected to reach value. Throughout his last five appearances in all competitions, he has made 15 saves, conceded nine goals, and recorded one clean sheet.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Gerónimo Rulli (DK $4.7K || FD $10) at Union Saint-Gilloise
  • Marco Carnesecchi (DK $4.1K || FD $10) vs. Chelsea FC

EPL DFS Forwards

Raphinha - DK $9.1K || FD $23

Opponent - vs. Eintracht Frankfurt

There will be a maximum of two, and possibly three, players on whom all ‘CASH’ contests are built around today. One is Raphinha, and the other two are Julián Álvarez and Anouar Ait El Hadj. Raphinha arguably has the premium matchup on the slate, at home against Eintracht Frankfurt. In the first five Champions League matches for Eintracht Frankfurt, they are the worst in every metric across the board, and it isn’t a competition. That doesn’t come as much of a surprise, though, for those who follow the Bundesliga.

Raphinha has been gradually reintegrated into the First Team following a lengthy thigh injury, making his third start since his return on November 22nd. In his last five matches in all competitions–three starts–he has produced one goal, one assist, 12 shots, 10 chances created, 10 crosses, seven corners, four tackles, and two clearances. Based on the expected starting XI, Raphinha will be responsible for the majority of set pieces in this meeting with Frankfurt. It will not be surprising if he exceeds value and approaches his projected ceiling.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Julián Álvarez (DK $8.8K || FD $23) at PSV Eindhoven
  • Richarlison (DK $6.8K || FD $19) vs. SK Slavia Praha

EPL DFS Midfielders

Gabriel Sara - DK $7.2K || FD $13

Opponent - at AS Monaco

At the other end of the pitch at Stade Louis II, we have Gabriel Sara and Galatasaray S.K.. Sara will be responsible for most of the set pieces for the Aslanlar. In his most recent five Champions League appearances–two starts–he has generated seven shots, 10 chances created, 17 crosses, 11 corners, three tackles, two interceptions, and three clearances.

From a Per 90 Against viewpoint in AS Monaco’s last five Champions League fixtures, they are the worst in Shots, second-worst in Chances Created and In-the-Box Shots, and bottom-ten across the rest of the metrics. They are also the third-worst on the slate in Crosses Against. Considering Sara plays on the left flank, he will have ample opportunities to reach value through both set pieces and open-play value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Mohammed Kudus (DK $8.4K || FD $18) vs. SK Slava Praha
  • Anouar Ait El Hadj (DK $5.2K || FD $17) vs. Olympique Marseille

EPL DFS Defenders

Defenders

Pedro Porro - DK $5.8K || FD $15

Opponent - vs. SK Slavia Praha

Defense is a mixed batch of high-salaried and low-salaried options depending on the lineup's need. One defender who can always be relied on and has a prime matchup is Pedro Porro. In Porro’s last five appearances in all competitions–four starts–he has produced six shots, five chances created, 40 crosses, 10 corners, six tackles, nine interceptions, 14 clearances, and two blocks.

  SK Slavia Praha, in their last five Champions League matches, is second-worst in Big Chances Created Against Per 90 and bottom-ten in every other meaningful metric. Porro is expected to reach value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Pau Cubarsí (DK $3.5K || FD $10) vs. Eintracht Frankfurt
  • Abdülkerim Bardakci (DK $2.9K || FD $13) at AS Monaco

Corner Takers

Corner Takers:

  • Inter Milan: Federico Dimarco/Hakan Çalhanoğlu
  • Liverpool FC: Dominik Szoboszlai
  • AS Monaco: Lamine Camara/Ciao Henrique
  • Galatasaray S.K.: Gabriel Sara
  • Atalanta BC: Ademola Lookman/Davide Zappacosta
  • Chelsea FC: Pedro Neto
  • FC Barcelona: Raphinha
  • Eintracht Frankfurt: Farès Chaïbi
  • PSV Eindhoven: Joey Veerman
  • Atlético Madrid: Julián Álvarez
  • Union Saint-Gilloise: Anouar Ait El Hadj
  • Olympique Marseille: Mason Greenwood
  • Tottenham Hotspur: Mohammed Kudus/Pedro Porro
  • SK Slavia Praha: Michal Sadilek/Vasil Kusej

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
