EPL DFS Goalies
Matz Sels - DK $4.2K || FD $10
Opponent - at Everton FC
Nottingham Forest is playing much better away from City Ground than most expect. In their last five away domestic fixtures, the visitors have conceded five goals in total. In that timeframe, they managed to hold clean sheets against both Wolverhampton FC and Liverpool FC. In those five matches, Matz Sels made 13 saves.
In Nottingham’s most recent five domestic matches, they are the second-worst club in Shots Against Per 90 and the ninth-worst in Goals Against Per 90. Everton’s metrics in their most recent five domestic matches are not ideal. However, due to Sels’s salary, the potential risk is warranted.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Gianluigi Donnarumma (DK $6K || FD $14) vs. Sunderland AFC
- CaoimhIn Kelleher (DK $4.5K || FD $10) at Tottenham Hotspur
EPL DFS Forwards
Anthony Elanga - DK $9.4K || FD $14
Opponent - vs. Burnley FC
Despite the constant chatter around the arrival of Anthony Elanga during the Summer Transfer Window, the Swede has struggled to break into the starting XI consistently for the Magpies. In his last five appearances in all competitions–one start–he has produced one assist, two shots, one chance created, three crosses, and four tackles.
From a Per 90 Against viewpoint in Burnley’s last five domestic fixtures, they are the worst in Goals, bottom-five in Shots, Chances Created, In-the-Box Goals, and Penalty Area Defense, and they are bottom-ten in In-the-Box Shots Against. Elanga is expected to take on the majority of set pieces in this home fixture, further boosting his value and his chances of reaching his ceiling potential.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Erling Haaland (DK $10.6K || FD $25) vs. Sunderland AFC
- Dango Ouattara (DK $7.7K || FD $17) at Tottenham Hotspur

EPL DFS Midfielders
Mohammed Kudus - DK $7.5K || FD $21
Opponent - vs. Brentford FC
Outside of Phil Foden (DK $10K || FD $23), Mohammed Kudus is the only qualified midfielder who has complete control over their club’s respective set pieces. In the winger’s last five appearances in all competitions–four starts–he has amassed one goal, one assist, six shots, four chances created, 37 crosses, 16 corners, seven tackles, one interception, and two clearances.
Brentford FC has played at an average defensive pace in its last five domestic fixtures. However, the metrics don’t show that they've conceded an average of 2 goals in their previous five domestic matches. Nevertheless, with open-play value and set piece value, Kudus is expected to reach and exceed value.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Elliot Anderson (DK $7.4K || FD $19) at Everton FC
- Rayan Cherki (DK $5.8K || FD $16) vs. Sunderland AFC

EPL DFS Defenders
Defenders
Pedro Porro - DK $6.3K || FD $13
Opponent - vs. Brentford FC
Teammate and midfielder Mohammed Kudus was already mentioned above, and it was noted that he would possess the majority, if not all, of the set pieces for the Spurs. If Kudus does not take all of the set pieces, Pedro Porro will be the next man up. Similar to Kudus, Porro also has open-play value from his ability to attack down the flank. In Porro’s last five appearances in all competitions–four starts–he has produced one assist, one shot, three chances created, 28 crosses, 11 corners, six tackles, one interception, 10 clearances, and one block.
As mentioned above, Brentford FC has been average defensively in their last five domestic matches. Porro will have numerous opportunities at both ends of the pitch to reach and maintain value.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Reece James (DK $5.9K || FD $16) at AFC Bournemouth **LISTED AS MID ON FD**
- Tino Livramento (DK $4.7K || FD $11) vs. Burnley FC
Corner Takers
- AFC Bournemouth: Marcus Tavernier/Alex Scott
- Chelsea FC: Cole Palmer/Pedro Neto/Reece James
- Everton FC: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall/Jack Grealish
- Nottingham Forest: Elliot Anderson
- Manchester City FC: Phil Foden/Rayan Cherki
- Sunderland AFC: Enzo Le Fée/Granit Xhaka
- Newcastle United: Anthony Elanga/Lewis Miley
- Burnley FC: Josh Cullen/Jaidon Anthony/Quilindschy Hartman
- Tottenham Hotspur: Pedro Porro/Mohammed Kudus
- Brentford FC: Dango Ouattara
