Michael Rasmussen Makes Early Exit Tuesday
Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen (undisclosed) left Tuesday's 5-4 victory over the Boston Bruins midway through the third period. Rasmussen only recently returned from an undisclosed injury, scoring in back-to-back games. Now, he could be set for another spell on the sidelines. In 24 appearances this season, Rasmussen has contributed four goals and four assists. His exit from the lineup would be a second blow in a short space of time for Detroit's bottom-six group, as Mason Appleton (lower body) was ruled out for at least a week before Tuesday's game.
