Pyotr Kochetkov Remains Without Timeline For Return
Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov (lower body) is without a timeline for his return, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports. The Russian netminder last played on Nov. 15, improving to 4-0-0 for the season with a 3-1 win over the Boston Bruins. He has since been on the shelf with a lower-body injury. During Kochetkov's absence, the Hurricanes have leaned on Frederik Andersen and Brandon Bussi in the crease. While Andersen is the more established name, Bussi has been a better option for fantasy managers. He has started back-to-back games and improved to 5-0-0 over his last five appearances with his first career shutout in Sunday's 1-0 overtime victory against the Calgary Flames.
