Viktor Arvidsson Out Week-to-Week
Boston Bruins winger Viktor Arvidsson (lower body) won't play on Monday night against the Carolina Hurricanes and is considered week-to-week. The Bruins placed him on Injured Reserve after Arvidsson suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Across 20 games, Arvidsson has contributed six goals and four assists. Only Morgan Geekie (12) and David Pastrnak (11) have more goals for Boston this season. The Bruins frontline has suffered other injury blows as well, prompting the team to recall Matej Blumel and Riley Tufte from the minors. Blumel could be a sneaky fantasy option as a player who will join Boston's top six on Monday and will have a spot on the first power-play unit.
