Dylan Samberg Makes Season Debut Thursday
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dylan Samberg (wrist) has been activated from Injured Reserve and is poised to make his season debut in Thursday's matchup against the Seattle Kraken. The 26-year-old has been out so far due to a broken wrist suffered during the preseason. A season ago, Samberg made big strides and finished the campaign with 20 points (six goals, 14 assists), 95 shots, 120 blocks, and a very impressive plus-34 rating in 60 games. Samberg makes a timely return, as the Jets have just lost Haydn Fleury (concussion) from their defense. He will be partnered with Neal Pionk, which will push Luke Schenn out of the lineup on Thursday.
