Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill (lower body) saw only 9:54 of action in Monday's tilt against the Carolina Hurricanes. Hill appeared to have injured his left leg in the first period, giving up the crease to Akira Schmid, who helped the team secure a 4-1 victory with 22 saves. Vegas has its next game scheduled for Saturday, giving Hill good recovery time. However, he may still end up missing some time, which would provide Schmid with additional playing opportunities. Despite starting only two games so far this season, Schmid has posted a 4-0-0 record. He also replaced Hill in a game on Oct. 14.--Taavi Pailk
