Buffalo Sabres defenseman Jacob Bryson entered concussion protocol on Saturday. In a game against the Florida Panthers, he was hurt on his first shift, falling awkwardly into the boards after a hit from Florida forward Jonah Gadjovich. Bryson has recorded one assist and four blocks in five games this season. He will likely miss some time, opening the door for Zach Metsa to enter the lineup. Metsa has yet to play in the league, but he's posted good numbers in the minors. Last season in the AHL, Metsa recorded 46 points (seven goals, 39 assists) in 69 outings. However, he will likely see only third-pairing minutes on the Sabres defense, making it difficult for him to have a significant impact in fantasy hockey.--Taavi Pailk
