Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Washington Commanders
Washington Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt had his worst performance of the season in Week 6 against the Bears, handling 17 carries for 61 yards with one reception for seven yards and losing a fumble for the second consecutive game.
It's concerning to see him put the ball on the ground this frequently, but the coaching staff showed faith in him and went right back to him. On a positive note, the rookie seventh-rounder posted his highest snap share of the season at 66.7%. Croskey-Merritt should again handle the bulk of the touches in Week 7 against a Dallas defense that just allowed Rico Dowdle to rack up 239 total yards.
They are allowing the fourth-most PPR points per game to opposing running backs, which sets up Croskey-Merritt for a nice bounce-back game. He is a must-start in Week 7.
RJ Harvey, RB, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos rookie running back RJ Harvey still profiles as the passing-down back for the offense as they face the New York Giants at home in Week 7. Harvey has had some splash plays this season and hasn't necessarily been bad with the ball in his hands.
Still, with veteran running back J.K. Dobbins performing so well, he will likely be delegated as the passing back in the offense until further notice. Having 15 targets in the past four weeks is a healthy number and really amplifies his value were Dobbins ever to miss any time.
As RotoBaller's 38th-ranked running back in Week 7, he will still be hard to trust in lineups but is on the FLEX radar in deep leagues.
Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins has been one of the few bright spots for his team's offense through six games in 2025. The rookie running back has now rushed for 383 yards and two touchdowns while adding nine catches for 62 yards in five games.
Judkins will be looking to bounce back in Week 7 after he turned in his slowest output of the season last week as the Pittsburgh Steelers held him to just 36 yards on 12 carries. Judkins has a good shot at a big afternoon in Week 7 as he will face off against the Miami Dolphins at home.
Miami's defense has been quite generous to opposing running backs this season, allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game so far. Judkins can be trusted as a low-end RB1 heading into Week 7.
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty is expected to handle a heavy workload in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs. With the Chiefs' offense catching fire in recent weeks, the Raiders will likely try to control the tempo by leaning on Jeanty and the ground game.
The rookie has thrived in outside zone concepts, an area where Kansas City's defense has struggled, setting him up for a potentially productive day. The Chiefs rank 19th in rushing yards allowed per game (119.2), creating an ideal matchup for Jeanty to exploit.
Expect the Raiders to establish the run early and often, keeping Patrick Mahomes off the field while feeding their emerging backfield workhorse. Jeanty profiles as a strong RB2 play in fantasy lineups and could deliver one of his best performances of the season on Sunday.
Kyle Monangai, RB, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai posted a career-high in yardage in Week 6 coming out of the bye. Through five games, Monangai has totaled 129 scrimmage yards on 26 touches, operating as the clear backup to D'Andre Swift.
Swift (groin) is questionable for Week 7 but has stated he expects to play, keeping Monangai in his reserve role. While the rookie could see a slight uptick in usage if Swift is limited, his fantasy value remains limited heading into the matchup with the Saints.
Kyle Monangai should stay on fantasy benches in Week 7 as he continues to carve out a role in Ben Johnson's offense.
