The normally fantasy-relevant defense of the Minnesota Vikings finds itself as only a mid-tier fantasy option in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Though Minnesota's pass rush numbers have remained excellent, the team is 21st in yards per carry and facing a Philadelphia team desperate to get its once-dominant run game moving. The Eagles have uncharacteristically struggled, ranking 29th in yards per rushing attempt and scoring on only a third of their drives overall, which is the fifth-worst mark in the league. Coming off a bye, however, the Eagles have had some time to regroup from a poor offensive start and once again attempt to look like the offense that won last year's Super Bowl. While the Vikings hope to extend Philly's struggles, managers would do well to target a different matchup in their starting lineups this week.--Nick Piotrowicz
