Vegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel finished Wednesday's season-opening 6-5 shootout loss against the Los Angeles Kings with a goal and three assists. Two assists came on the power-play for Eichel, who is now the ninth player in NHL history to tally at least four points in multiple season openers. Eichel's outstanding performance came after the team announced that it had signed a massive eight-year, $108 million contract extension with him. The American star sure performed like a $100 million player against the Kings and will have great momentum for the rest of the week. Vegas faces the San Jose Sharks on Thursday and then heads to Seattle on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk
