Drake Batherson Ruled Out for Thursday
Ottawa Senators right wing Drake Batherson (upper body) won't be in the lineup on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports. He has been ruled out for Ottawa's season opener due to an upper-body injury. Batherson practiced on Wednesday but left early. There's a chance he may be ready to jump into the lineup on Saturday when the Senators face the Florida Panthers. Thursday will mark the end of Batherson's impressive ironman streak, as he hasn't missed any games for three straight seasons. With Batherson out, Ottawa is expected to use Fabian Zetterlund on the top line Thursday night. Zetterlund has struggled badly since moving to Canada, but he should draw fantasy interest as a partner of Tim Stutzle and Brady Tkachuk.
