Buffalo Sabres defenseman Bowen Byram (undisclosed) is expected to join the lineup for Friday's preseason game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 24-year-old was injured in a game against the Detroit Red Wings on Sept. 27 and missed several practice sessions this week. Fortunately for the Sabres, Byram has recovered from an undisclosed injury ahead of the team's preseason finale. Byram is a two-way talent and appears set for a productive fantasy campaign. During his first full season with the Sabres in 2024-25, Byram recorded 38 points (seven goals, 31 assists), 94 shots, 116 blocks, and 75 hits in 82 contests with a plus-11 rating.--Taavi Pailk
