Utah Mammoth left wing JJ Peterka (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day by head coach Andre Tourigny, Catherine Bogart of the Mammoth's official site reports. Peterka has only played in one of the team's preseason games and might not be available for the last few matchups, depending on his recovery. The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakout campaign last season with the Buffalo Sabres and will have plenty to prove after Utah inked him to a five-year, $38.5 million contract extension in the summer. Peterka should feature prominently in the Mammoth offense and could further enhance his production. In 2024-25, Peterka totaled 27 goals and 68 points in 77 games.--Taavi Pailk
