Drake Batherson Leaves Practice Early
Ottawa Senators winger Drake Batherson (undisclosed) left Tuesday's practice early. Per TSN's Claire Hanna, Senators head coach Travis Green said Batherson "pulled something" during the session. It would be a major setback for the Senators if Batherson has to miss significant time. The 27-year-old finished second on the team last season with 68 points (26 goals, 42 assists) and 149 hits in 82 games. He has previously proven himself to be a durable player, not missing a single contest over the past three campaigns. Batherson needs to recover by Oct. 9 to maintain his ironman streak.
