Marvin Mims Jr. Tough to Trust Amidst Reduced Role
Marvin Mims Jr. seems to have dropped to third on the depth chart, which makes him tougher to trust in fantasy football. While there was plenty of buzz about the 23-year-old opening the 2025 season as Denver's No. 2 wide receiver behind Courtland Sutton, he has primarily operated as the No. 3 receiver so far, earning fewer opportunities than Troy Franklin, too. Sutton and Franklin have combined for at least nine receptions in each of the last two weeks, while Mims has failed to amass more than three catches in a single game. He did find the end zone last Sunday, but that type of production won't be sustainable every week. For now, he can be dropped in most leagues, and even in deeper leagues or dynasty formats, he belongs on the bench. That includes this week's matchup against the Chargers, who held every Raiders wide receiver not named Jakobi Meyers to three or fewer catches in Week 2.
