Baker Mayfield Remains in QB1 Mix for Week 3
Baker Mayfield (toe, foot) has been cleared to suit up for the Week 3 matchup against the New York Jets. The Bucs offensive line has been banged up, but that hasn't stopped Mayfield from making an impact on the field. So far this season, Mayfield has thrown for 382 yards with five touchdowns and zero interceptions in two games. He'll now head into a matchup against a Jets defense that had no answers for the Buffalo Bills last week. As already mentioned, the Bucs are banged up on the o-line, but also at wide receiver as well. This offense will be without Chris Godwin (ankle), Jalen McMillan (neck), and Emeka Egbuka (hip, groin) is questionable to play. That being said, Mayfield could see his value drop if Egbuka is unable to suit up. For now, fantasy managers should keep Mayfield in the QB1 mix for this game.
