ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs has posted back-to-back 600-yard campaigns, serving as a reliable option in the passing attack. While he has never shown elite upside, Doubs has been a dependable option for quarterback Jordan Love.
In 2024, Doubs caught 46 passes for 601 yards and four touchdowns. However, in 2023, during Love's breakout campaign, Doubs tallied a career-best 674 yards and an impressive eight touchdowns.
Even though the Packers brought in first-round wideout Matthew Golden in the 2025 NFL Draft, Doubs could still have a prominent role in the Greneen Bay passing attack early in the season. Currently, Jayden Reed (foot) is dealing with a Jones fracture. While he has stated he plans to play through the injury, he was unable to practice on Wednesday and could be limited in Sunday's contest.
In addition, the No. 4 WR, Dontayvion Wicks (calf), is also dealing with an injury and was limited on Wednesday.
If either Reed or Wicks is significantly limited during Sunday's contest against the high-flying Detroit Lions, Doubs could be in store for a relatively high target share in this game, slotting in as a clear WR2 opposite of Golden. Given the potential for this game to be high scoring, Doubs is worth a look in all 14-team leagues as a high-floor flex option.
