Najee Harris Could Play Week 1
Najee Harris (eye) could play in Week 1, according to the team's official website. The first-year Charger returned to practice on Wednesday and has not been placed on the reserve/non-football injury list, opening up the possibility he is active for the season opener against Kansas City. Harris sustained the injury during a July 4 fireworks accident and had not practiced since June. When healthy, he's likely to split work with rookie Omarion Hampton.
