Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Nabil Crismatt will start Thursday against the Milwaukee Brewers. It'll be Crismatt's third appearance and second start for the Diamondbacks, who signed him to a minor-league contract earlier this month after the Philadelphia Phillies released him. The 30-year-old journeyman has thrown nine innings for the D-backs and given up just one run on seven hits while recording nine strikeouts against four walks. He's in for an enormous challenge against the Brewers, who own the majors' best record by a wide margin and have piled up the third-most runs in the league.--Connor Byrne
