On Saturday's UFC 319 main event, former middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis suffered a unanimous-decision loss to new middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev via unanimous decision. The fight was uneventful, as Du Plessis was dominated by Chimaev for most of the fight. Chimaev didn't come close to finishing the fight at any point, but Du Plessis didn't have any answers for Chimaev. In 25 minutes of action, Du Plessis landed only 13 significant strikes while getting taken down 12 times out of 17. With the loss, Du Plessis has now dropped to 23-3 as a pro.--Alen Kurbasic
